Mobogenie is supposed to be a reincarnation of Moborobo (even though Moborobo still exists). To be honest, after fiddling with it some more I concluded that I really did not enjoy Moborobo that much. It has too many so called 'features' and it emanated a general lack of professionalism, but also a strange feeling of underhandedness. So you can imagine my delight when I had to take a look at this frigging thing. Mobogenie is suposed to act as an alternative to the PlayStore, and a docking app for your Android phone/tablet. It can connect to your device via USB (a connection which I did not manage to create unfortunately) or via WiFi (also a connection that could not occur due to technical issues). Oh, but there's more!
Mobogenie is not only one program, it is three! With it, also comes Genie Cleaner, a program that aptly jumps to clean gigabytes of supposedly junk data and keeps a widget that dumps your RAM contents on demand. Any way, moving on to Mobogenie itself, on the upper left side you could access different web based resources, if only Mobogenie could connect to the Internet. On the lower left side you have sections for local media and apps, including contacts. If only I could connect my tablet to Mobogenie.
